Hannah Stewart, originally from Mesa, Arizona, has trained, competed, and performed in jazz, tap, ballet, tumbling, pom, contemporary, lyrical and hip hop. She was on Mountain View High School’s pom dance team when they won the AIA Division 1 State Championship three years in row, making it a nine-time consecutive win for their team. They went on to win the National Championship in the Medium Advanced Pom Division in 2011 and 2012. She just finished up her third year as a member of the 16-time National Champion BYU Cougarettes, who just returned from NDA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida as champions in 1A division Open Dance. She has performed at BYU basketball and football games, BYU devotionals, Homecoming Spectacular, Cougarettes in Concert, Dancing Under the Stars, and Stadium of Fire. Hannah teaches and choreographs for groups and solos at local studios and also travels as an instructor for Precision Dance Camps. She believes we are given the gift to dance so that we can share it with others to help enrich people’s lives and bring joyful entertainment. She likes to live by the quote by Gail Devers, “every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.”
